Latest Updates From the State on Small Site CGPs

The State of Vermont has informed the erosion prevention community that the small site Construction General Permit (small sites are defined as those which disturb between one and five acres of earth) is now scheduled to be implemented in the fall of this year, after the regular construction season ends. The "regular construction season" is defined by the State as ending on October 15. The following statement has been released:


the current plan is to put the Small CGP back out for public comment and to issue it sometime soon, with an effective date of late this fall after the construction season. Keep in mind that this is subject to change at any time.
