Welcome to the New Staff

Llewellyn Howley Incorporated is pleased to announce that Darlene M. Autery has joined our staff. Her diverse skills and experience will play an integral part in expanding the environmental services sector of our business, initiated in 2003 under the direction of Trafton M. Crandall, P.E. Ms. Autery provides our clients environmental project experience in the following areas:

· Underground storage tank (UST) closure assessments
· Hydrogeologic investigations of leaking UST sites, uncontrolled hazardous waste sites, and landfills
· Corrective action feasibility investigations and remedial system design
· Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments for real estate transactions
· Health and safety/contaminated soil and groundwater management during construction
· Geotechnical site evaluations
· Landfill closure studies
· Public water supply installation and permitting
· Water supply risk assessments
· Bedrock competency evaluations and aquifer studies

Darlene earned an M.S. in Geology from the University of Vermont with an emphasis on groundwater geochemistry. She has over seven years of experience in the environmental consulting field working throughout the northeast, including four years as a hydrogeologist with Marin Environmental, Inc. of Richmond, Vermont. She has worked at Severn Trent Laboratory, the largest environmental testing company in the United States, as a geotechnical analyst performing engineering tests on soils. In the past two years she attained her VT designer license for wastewater design.

In addition to her environmental projects, Ms. Autery will assist our clients in wastewater treatment and disposal design, stormwater management, Act 250 and various other permitting and compliance requirements. We are excited about the capabilities Ms. Autery adds to our services.
